IDEC, which specialises in the design and construction of turnkey projects involving logistics, industrial and service sector premises, has seen its maintenance contract for a 70,000 m\u00b2 warehouse built for Intermarch\u00e9 in Bourges (Cher) renewed for the second year in a row. This renewed confidence underlines how attractive IDEC\u2019s offer is for its clients thanks to their special department: Maintenance and upkeep services, known in French as MES.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

MES, maintenance by IDEC<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Wishing to stay with their clients throughout each stage of their project, IDEC offers a maintenance contract for the buildings it has developed to ensure they are run efficiently. \u201cAlongside the usual guarantees concerning the building in the first year after completion, we offer to carry out the maintenance of the buildings<\/em>,\u201d explained Daniel, who is in charge of the after sales service in IDEC\u2019s MES unit. \u201cThis contract, which of course can be renewed, offers several different levels to accompany the client, from preventative maintenance to the all-round offer of Facility Management.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Just as they work alongside their clients during the building phase for their projects, IDEC offers with its maintenance solution the possibility for the clients to rely on a single contact to monitor their building. \u201cWith MES, we simplify the monitoring of the facilities for our clients as much as possible. We are their sole contact. They sign a single contract with IDEC, which allows them to focus on their own business without any worries.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe offer several different levels of maintenance. With our clients we define their requirements, in order to offer the right type of service<\/em>,\u201d said Daniel, before adding, \u201cThe contract renewed by INTERMARCHE for their logistics warehouse in Bourges includes for example all the maintenance of the equipment that has been installed that is required by official rules (loading bay equipment, electricity, heating, air conditioning, roads and access), as well as preventative and remedial maintenance. We offer the same level of maintenance to the same client in Grand Fougeray (53,000 m\u00b2 delivered early this year).<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In order to ensure everything is well organised and there is the best response possible, IDEC relies on a special application to pilot the maintenance of its clients\u2019 buildings. \u201cA tablet with the special software is used as a link between the MES team and the client. Thanks to this digital tool that we make available to them, they are able to fill out a maintenance application for their equipment.
