weeks ago with the delivery of a new 100,000 m\u00b2 logistics platform in Moissy-Cramayel (77).<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>The project stands out for its exemplary environmental approach and the string of certifications it is aiming for.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>This delivery makes it the world\u2019s first certified carbon-neutral logistics warehouse.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ANOTHER SUCCESS FOR PROLOGIS AND IDEC<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This new project is geared towards GROUPE CASINO subsidiary SAMADA, the MONOPRIX Group\u2019s logistics service provider, which receives, stores, prepares and dispatches all its customers\u2019 products (food and non-food).&nbsp;With this new platform, the company can optimize its storage and transport facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Collaboration between PROLOGIS and IDEC has already paved the way for the construction of numerous projects for the logistics and mass retail sectors, including dry warehouses, multi-temperature warehouses and courier warehouses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This logistics platform is targeting environmental excellence with four certifications.\u00a0BREEAM Outstanding level certification, BIODIVERCITY label, WELL Silver level certification and Zero Carbon Certification.\u00a0The carbon footprint of this project could be avoided or reduced by 80% over a 50-year life cycle.\u00a0Reforestation and energy-saving projects are planned to offset the remaining 20%.\u00a0The program also includes a large number of innovations, such as the use of 100% green energy, the deployment of a self-consumption solar power plant, the installation of energy storage from one season to the next, and the infiltration of all rainwater on the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A 100,000 M\u00b2 PROJECT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The 100,000 m\u00b2 project is organized around eight cells covering 6,000 m\u00b2 and four cells covering 12,000 m\u00b2.\u00a0One of the dry cells features advanced automation, with robots moving horizontally and vertically between cells.\u00a0Office blocks have also been built.\u00a0Work on this facility began in July 2020, and an initial handover phase took place from mid-May to the end of June, at a rate of one cell per week.\u00a0The first delivery, comprising two-thirds of the building, took place this summer.\u00a0The second phase of this project was handed over a few weeks ago, marking the final delivery of this
