months after the start of construction work, the first column of this nearly 21,000 m\u00b2 project was erected in the presence of all the stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>A SYMBOLIC INSTALLATION FOR THE FIRST COLUMN<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-image uagb-block-55582a1c fruit-flavored soft drinks with its iconic Orangina, Oasis and Schweppes brands, organized the inaugural erection of the first column of its future new-generation automated logistics platform.\u00a0This project represents Suntory\u2019s most substantial investment in Europe in 15 years.\u00a0To mark the occasion, the company\u2019s employees, customers, partners, IDEC teams and local councilors gathered to celebrate this symbolic milestone in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>A NEW-GENERATION HIGH-RISE LOGISTICS PLATFORM<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-image uagb-block-65e4e0db wp-block-uagb-image--layout-default wp-block-uagb-image--effect-static wp-block-uagb-image--align-none\"><figure class=\"wp-block-uagb-image__figure\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" srcset=\"https:\/\/idec-ingenierie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/06\/2306-IDEC-PERSPECTIVE-SUNTORY-1024x480.jpg \" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 150px\" area will feature a 27-metre-high \u201cstacker crane\u201d storage area comprising two 3,000 m\u00b2 cells and a third 6,000 m\u00b2 cell.\u00a0A second structure, which will stand 15 meters high (two levels), will span 4,450 m\u00b2 and will include a shipping and storage area and various processes to handle the building operator\u2019s business.\u00a0Work began in March 2023, with the first installations scheduled to be handed over at the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>MORE THAN JUST A LOGISTICS BUILDING<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One building will be home to an important process, independently of the logistics platform structure.\u00a0A 900 m\u00b2 overhead passageway will link the Suntory Beverage &amp; Food France bottling plant to the first floor of the \u201cB\u00e2timent Quais\u201d building, with an integrated process to manage the stocks produced by the plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>A PROJECT WITH RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This logistics project is targeting BREEAM Very Good environmental certification.\u00a0To achieve this, it will benefit from a number of tangible initiatives, including waste management, improved staff comfort and optimized water consumption.\u00a0The energy aspect was also the focus of attention, with the implementation of metering systems, outdoor lighting management (twilight sensor) and the installation of solar panels.\u00a0Furthermore, an ecologist was involved in the early stages of construction to ensure that the local flora and fauna were properly protected.\u00a0With regard to water management, a reduction in consumption per equipment and a leak detection system will be implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transportation has also been factored into this approach in order to limit the impact of the constructed buildings on the environment.\u00a0Accessibility to alternative
