Covering a total floor area of 7,000 sq m, the project has been designed to support the consolidation and expansion of the company\u2019s operations while integrating photovoltaic installations, reflecting IDEC\u2019s commitment to delivering comprehensive and sustainable industrial solutions.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HFR, A SPECIALIST IN BORING AND HONING OPERATIONS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HFR specialises in the machining of metal components for the aerospace, railway and automotive industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To support the evolution of its business activities, the company intends to centralise its boring and honing operations while also developing a plastics recycling activity for another subsidiary of the LAFOURCADE Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through its Small-Scale Projects Division, IDEC is supporting the development by leveraging its expertise in designing and delivering industrial facilities tailored to the specific operational requirements of its clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A COMPREHENSIVE TURNKEY APPROACH<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this project, IDEC\u2019s Small-Scale Projects Division is providing a fully integrated turnkey solution. Designed by VICTOR Architectes, the development benefits from a collaborative approach focused on operational efficiency and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The installation of a rooftop photovoltaic power plant further illustrates the shared commitment of IDEC and HFR to sustainable development. With an installed capacity of <strong>499 kWp<\/strong>, the system will generate approximately <strong>503 MWh of renewable electricity annually<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This production corresponds to the annual energy consumption of <strong>107 households<\/strong> and will help avoid approximately <strong>160 tonnes of CO\u2082 emissions over a 20-year period<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A 7,000 SQ M INDUSTRIAL FACILITY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project features an architectural design specifically adapted to the site&#8217;s topography, including a <strong>6,000 sq m semi-underground production workshop<\/strong> and <strong>1,000 sq m of office accommodation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The production areas will be equipped with dedicated technical infrastructure, including <strong>11 overhead cranes<\/strong> and multiple <strong>jib cranes<\/strong> to support industrial operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Large lateral glazed openings will maximise natural daylight within the building, enhancing employee comfort and workplace quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The development will also include a <strong>90-space car park<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A 12-MONTH CONSTRUCTION PROGRAMME<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Construction commenced in November 2024 and is progressing according to a carefully planned schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The earthworks phase, running through February 2025, will be followed by structural works in March and the erection of the steel frame structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The facility is scheduled for completion and handover in <strong>November 2025<\/strong>, marking the successful delivery of a project designed to meet HFR\u2019s operational, technical and environmental requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IDEC is supporting HFR, a subsidiary of the LAFOURCADE Group, in the construction of a new industrial facility in Fr\u00e9pillon, in the Val-d\u2019Oise department of France.
