IDEC, the designer and builder of logistics warehouses and business property is starting work on two major projects this September for Carrefour in Bourges and Prologis in Moissy Cramayel. The two projects come to a total of around 130 000 m².
Our teams have just started work on the construction of a new 60,000 sq.m logistics platform near Paris for Prologis. This project follows on from the 100,000 m² completed in early 2016 close-by for this developer of logistics platforms.
Meanwhile, work on the 70,000sq.m multi-temperature warehouse for Carrefour in Bourges is continuing. Work began in early June and is going to schedule. The ground and loading bay foundations have been completed. This required the use of 18,000 m3 of concrete. Out of the 519 pillars initially planned for this platform, the workers managed by the IDEC teams have already finished 351 foundations and put in 81 pillars and 9 flooring panels.
This project for Carrefour in Bourges shows the strength of the reputation of IDEC in this field, as the General Director, Tony Morais recently explained. « This project shows the trust in IDEC for this type of multi-temperature warehouse and on top of that they know the Bourges area very well. IDEC has already carried out a lot of work around there, such as the work done for Intermarché, Recticel, Via Logistique and La Bovida, which comes to a total construction of 200,000 m².”
