IDEC, leader in the design and construction of turkey projects involving logistics, industrial and service sector properties, is currently building a delivery service for PROLOGIS near Paris. The first pillars were put in place over the past few days for this project, which is being erected in Vémars.
Another project for PROLOGIS
PROLOGIS, the famous property developer specialising in logistics units in France and abroad, once again turned to the IDEC teams to build a project near Paris. This project developed for the logistics firm, XPO LOGISTICS, confirms the trust shared between PROLOGIS and IDEC, who are once again working together after many other projects successfully carried out across France.
An 8222 m² delivery warehouse
This latest project involves the construction of an 8222 m² delivery warehouse with a mixed structure (concrete and wood) with a span of 43 metres without any intermediate pillars. A delivery unit with 70 bays will cover around 7000 m² and will be the heart of the project, which will be used by the future occupant, XPO LOGISTICS. Offices and staff rooms, a charging area, sentry post and external offices are also involved in this project. 120 spaces for light vehicles and 29 spaces for heavy vehicles are planned in this project.
To be delivered at the end of the year
Work began on this project last April with the preparation of the ground and the construction of the base structures. The first concrete pillars for the delivery service have just been installed. Construction will continue until the end of the year with the handover scheduled for December. Some parts will be made available early in November to allow the future occupant to move into the premises.
