The teams from IDEC, MONTEA and ADVITAM (JARDILAND and GAMM VERT), who will be moving into this building, came together on Friday to visit the building site for this 35,000 m² warehouse currently being built in Athies (Pas-de-Calais). Among the day’s highlights, there was the symbolic planting of a tree by the various stakeholders.
A 35,000 m² logistics platform
IDEC, the subsidiary of the IDEC GROUP, leader in the design and construction of turnkey projects involving logistics, industrial and service sector properties, is currently working on the construction of a 35,000 m² logistics platform developed by MONTEA for ADVITAM, a farming cooperative in the Hauts de France Region. This is the second time that the IDEC GROUP and MONTEA have worked together after the handover of a delivery service measuring more than 4000 m² in Lesquin (Nord) last year.
A visit to the building site
Invited by MONTEA, all of those involved in this project got together to visit the building site. Everyone involved was able to see how work was progressing on this building project which includes three storage units. A 2000 m² office block will house the admin section of ADVITAM, who will be moving into the building. The visit to the site ended with the symbolic planting of a tree.
9 months of work
Work began in the first quarter of 2019 and is progressing well. All of the units have been erected and work is now focusing on the roofing. The IDEC building teams in charge of running the construction project for this logistics platform will be busy until April 2020 to ensure the building can be up and running as desired by the ADVITAM farming cooperative.
