IDEC, with its building and services unit as completed the extension and reorganisation of a multi-temperature logistics warehouse for ARGAN that will house SYSCO in Chanceaux-sur-Choisille (Indre-et-Loire). This project took eight months of work over a site involving 2600 m².
A complete transformation of the site
SYSCO, a company specialising in the production and distribution of food products for the catering sector entrusted the building and services unit at IDEC to carry out the modification of its existing site in Chanceaux-sur-Choisille (Indre-et-Loire). This transformation aims to deal with a growth in the firm’s business and should also allow it to meet environmental protection norms concerning its business.
8 months of work
The teams from the building and services unit worked alongside SYSCO on the design of the project right up to its construction. Thanks to a dedicated team able to offer a quick tailor-made response, this project was carried out in a limited time period. The work done by the IDEC teams focused on the extension of a positive temperature cold room covering 2200 m² and the reorganisation of a 400 m² negative temperature unit in an existing zone. These two areas delivered a few days ago are designed to be used to store fresh food products.
Four projects at the same time for SYSCO
This project was successfully delivered and is part of the reorganisation of several sites run by SYSCO and owned by ARGAN and the IDEC INVEST GROUP, the investment arm of the IDEC GROUP. Apart from this project in Chanceaux-sur-Choisille, the building and services unit at IDEC is also in charge of making changes to three other sites in Nantes, Metz and Strasbourg.
The building and services unit, a response that meets your requirements
The offer from the building and services unit at IDEC stood out thanks to a specific way of organising things developed by its special teams. This approach means it is able to respond while respecting the clients’ expectations concerning feasibility, costs and the construction work all within a very short time frame. This way of organising things satisfied their need to build an extension immediately to deal with a growth in their business and update their premises to the latest norms.
