GEODIS selected IDEC’s teams to execute two projects simultaneously. This 12,500 m² complex in Parcay-Meslay (37) is organized around two extensions for courier services and operating space. These facilities were delivered a few weeks ago.

TWO EXTENSIONS FOR A THRIVING BUSINESS
To expand its logistics activities and storage space, GEODIS has commissioned IDEC’s TSE unit to construct storage areas spanning a total surface area of 12,500 m². The first extension spans 6,100 m² while the second covers 6,400 m² and comprises an operating area, a loading area and offices. The site entrance has also been redesigned, and additional parking spaces have been created for light vehicles.
ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY
After work began in September 2020, the first phase of the project was handed over in December 2020 with the extension of the light vehicle parking area and the entrance to the site. This was followed by the delivery of the first extension to the complex in July 2021, which paved the way for work on the second extension. IDEC’s TSE unit handed over the keys to the entire building and security post to GEODIS a few weeks ago. This project was successfully completed on time and with minimal impact on GEODIS’ business, despite the work being carried out during the operating phase.
