FAUBOURG PROMOTION and IDEC, subsidiaries of GROUPE IDEC, have successfully delivered a new 25,000 sq m distribution centre in Mignières for PLG, a subsidiary of the BUNZL Group. This new facility will enable PLG to optimise its logistics operations, support its continued growth and contribute to the economic development of the local area.
A NEW DISTRIBUTION CENTRE FOR PLG (BUNZL GROUP), SUPPORTING LOCAL ECONOMIC GROWTH
The new distribution centre has been designed to support the expansion of PLG, a leading distributor of professional hygiene products.
Thanks to this new infrastructure, the company will be able to strengthen its logistics capabilities and improve the efficiency of its operations and customer service.
The establishment of the facility in Mignières also represents a significant opportunity for the region, generating new employment opportunities and contributing to local economic development.


MULTIPLE GROUPE IDEC SUBSIDIARIES WORKING TOGETHER ON A SINGLE PROJECT
This development perfectly illustrates the synergies between several GROUPE IDEC entities.
FAUBOURG PROMOTION was responsible for the development of the project, while IDEC managed both the design and turnkey construction of the facility.
The combined expertise of these entities enabled the delivery of a solution fully aligned with PLG’s operational and technical requirements.
In addition, GROUPE IDEC ENR contributed its renewable energy expertise through the design, future installation and operation of a rooftop photovoltaic power plant.
A PROJECT SUPPORTING THE ENVIRONMENTAL TRANSITION
Developed with sustainability at its core, the distribution centre is targeting BREEAM Very Good certification and the BiodiverCity label, reflecting its high environmental performance and commitment to biodiversity integration.
The rooftop photovoltaic installation will generate approximately 1,436 MWh of renewable electricity annually, contributing to the site’s energy efficiency and supporting decarbonisation objectives.
A 25,000 SQ M FACILITY DESIGNED FOR FUTURE EXPANSION
The development comprises a total floor area of 25,000 sq m, including:
- 24,000 sq m of warehouse and storage space
- 1,000 sq m of office accommodation
The facility also incorporates a dedicated battery charging area and technical spaces specifically designed to meet PLG’s operational requirements.
To support the company’s future growth, the site has been designed with the capability to accommodate a 12,000 sq m extension, ensuring long-term flexibility and scalability for future business developments.
