IDEC has successfully delivered a new 30,000 sq m logistics platform to PANATTONI France in Ormes, located in the Loiret department of France. Designed with ambitious environmental objectives, this project marks a new milestone in the partnership between the two companies, following the successful completion of a previous logistics development near Troyes.
A 30,000 SQ M LOGISTICS PLATFORM
Construction of the logistics facility began in January 2024 and was successfully completed with the official handover to PANATTONI France on 21 March 2025.
The development comprises:
- 27,000 sq m of warehouse space
- 1,250 sq m of mezzanine storage
- 1,350 sq m of office accommodation
Designed to meet the demanding requirements of logistics operators, the facility combines modern infrastructure, high-performance technical systems and optimised operational layouts.

AN AWARD-WINNING DEVELOPMENT AT THE AGORA SUPPLY CHAIN AWARDS 2025
Through this project, PANATTONI France was recognised at the Agora Supply Chain Awards 2025, receiving the award for “Logistics Real Estate Player of the Year.”
The distinction recognises the ambitious logistics redevelopment carried out within the Pôle 45 business park in Ormes.
The jury particularly highlighted the creation of new logistics capacity on a site where no available facilities previously existed, while avoiding the development of additional greenfield land through the regeneration of an existing logistics site.
A PROJECT COMMITTED TO ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE
Sustainability considerations were integrated into the project from the earliest design stages.
The facility was constructed using recycled concrete recovered from the demolition of the former building and incorporates a hybrid structural system featuring glued laminated timber.
The development also includes:
- Rooftop photovoltaic panels
- Intelligent LED lighting systems
- Rainwater harvesting solutions
Particular attention was paid to biodiversity preservation through the protection of existing trees, the creation of a pond and an infiltration basin, and measures designed to safeguard local wildlife and plant species.
These initiatives contribute significantly to reducing the project’s environmental footprint while enhancing its ecological value.
TARGETING BREEAM EXCELLENT AND BIODIVERCITY CERTIFICATIONS
Through its sustainable design approach and comprehensive environmental measures, the project is targeting BREEAM Excellent certification and the BiodiverCity label.
These certifications recognise the project’s commitment to energy efficiency, responsible resource management and biodiversity preservation, while ensuring seamless integration into its surrounding environment.

A NEW SUCCESSFUL COLLABORATION WITH PANATTONI FRANCE
A leading real estate developer specialising in logistics and industrial projects, PANATTONI France continues to expand its footprint across France with this latest development.
The project follows a successful first collaboration with IDEC involving the construction of a 60,000 sq m logistics platform in Saint-Léger-près-Troyes.
In recognition of the quality of this partnership, PANATTONI France awarded IDEC the title of “Best General Contractor in France” in October 2024.
The successful delivery of the Ormes facility further strengthens the long-standing relationship between the two companies and demonstrates their shared commitment to developing increasingly efficient, sustainable and environmentally responsible logistics infrastructure.
