The 25,200 sq m logistics platform delivered by IDEC for PROLOGIS in Douvrin (Pas-de-Calais) has been awarded the BiodiverCity Performance label. This recognition highlights the ambitious integration of biodiversity at the heart of the project, which has already achieved BREEAM Very Good certification.

To support its development objectives, PROLOGIS, a global leader in logistics real estate, once again entrusted IDEC with the construction of a 25,200 sq m logistics platform in Douvrin.
Organised around warehouse space, offices and staff facilities, the building meets the operational requirements of its future users while embracing an ambitious environmental approach on the site of a redeveloped former industrial brownfield.
A project awarded the BiodiverCity Performance label
The project has officially achieved the BiodiverCity Performance label, recognising the integration of biodiversity into the design of the site through landscaped areas and green spaces that promote local wildlife and plant species.
It has also been awarded BREEAM Very Good certification, highlighting its performance in terms of energy efficiency, resource management and occupant comfort.
