FAUBOURG PROMOTION and IDEC have just started work on the construction of a logistics warehouse for the POMONA Group in Wissous (Essonne). The two subsidiaries of the IDEC GROUP are bringing together their skills as planner-developer and designer-builder to come up with a made to measure solution for their client.

FAUBOURG PROMOTION has just started work on a new project in the Haut de Wissous 2 business park. The project once again underlines the success of this 35-hectare urban development zone developed by the teams at FAUBOURG PROMOTION in the heart of a thriving area close to major roads. TERRE AZUR, a subsidiary of the POMONA Group setting up here is in fact the second project for the fresh food distribution specialist in Wissous after a first 16,000 m² dry warehouse was built for EPISAVEUR and delivered in 2016.

FAUBOURG PROMOTION worked alongside the client from the birth of the project, which involved transferring its business and offered them a plot that was ideally located to satisfy the requirements of their logistics activity. The firm then joined up with IDEC, the subsidiary of the IDEC Group, which is the leader in the design and construction of logistics, industrial and service sector premises. These two companies specialising in logistics premises managed the design phase for this warehouse, the construction of which began this month.
11,600 m² for TERRE AZUR’s logistics business
It took eleven months to erect this 11,600 m² logistics building, which will be home to TERRE AZUR, a subsidiary of the POMONA Group. The property is based around 2400 m² of offices and staff rooms to house the administrative work in the company. 9200 m² of storage is spread around a ‘perfect ripeness’ area, a seafood area and delivery bays. A fuel station with two lanes and a wash station complete the project.
