Construction of Ivanhoé Cambridge’s new logistics facility in Lambres-Lez-Douai, in northern France, is entering its final finishing phase. With a total floor area of 28,000 sq m and a design focused on sustainability, this ambitious development is targeting BREEAM Excellent certification. Delivered by IDEC, the project reflects Ivanhoé Cambridge’s commitment to responsible, high-performance logistics solutions. Completion and handover are scheduled for the beginning of the second quarter of 2025.
A 28,000 SQ M LOGISTICS FACILITY
Developed on a speculative basis, the logistics platform offers a total floor area of 28,000 sq m.
The warehouse comprises five units of approximately 5,400 sq m each, complemented by 720 sq m of modern office space, 460 sq m of technical facilities and a 20 sq m gatehouse.
Designed to meet the highest logistics standards, the facility combines operational efficiency, flexibility and adaptability, making it suitable for a wide range of logistics and distribution activities.
A SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
This project reflects Ivanhoé Cambridge’s commitment to sustainable real estate development.
The facility is targeting BREEAM Excellent certification, recognising its high environmental and energy performance standards.
A rooftop photovoltaic power plant will generate renewable electricity and feed it back into the local power grid, contributing to a broader decarbonisation strategy and supporting the transition to more sustainable energy solutions.
FINAL STAGES OF CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY
Construction works are progressing steadily as the project approaches completion.
External cladding installation is nearing completion across all warehouse units, while technical packages are in their final stages. The office areas are taking shape with the installation of internal partitions, painting works and sanitary equipment.
The facility is scheduled for delivery at the beginning of the second quarter of 2025, marking the successful completion of a modern and sustainable logistics development designed to meet the evolving needs of the market.
