IDEC, leader in the design and construction of turnkey projects involving logistics, industrial and service sector properties continued the French tradition of roasting a leg of lamb in a tar bath on Thursday 5th June at its building site. 200 people came together for the event to celebrate two projects that are being built in Wissous (Essonne).
200 people met up
The roast in a tar bath in the construction sector symbolises the progress of the work recently carried out by IDEC Teams. This get together brought together all those involved, partner firms, builders, clients and staff, as a way to honour all the men and women who contribute to the projects each day and ensure their success. In all, 200 people came together on Thursday to celebrate these two logistics projects, the construction of which is being carried out simultaneously by IDEC in Wissous.
A controlled temperature warehouse for the POMONA GROUP
The first of the two projects being celebrated at this roast leg of lamb ceremony is currently being completed and will house the POMONA GROUP and their subsidiary, TERRE AZUR. This 11,600 m² project, which is due to be handed over in September follows on from work already done for the company with the delivery in recent years of a 7100 m² warehouse in Noyal-sur-Vilaine (Ille-et-Vilaine), a 7500 m² project in Rezé (Loire Atlantique) and a 17, 000 m² logistics platform in Wissous (Essonne).
A platform for customs transit
The second project, which is also well advanced, will become home to SOTRACOM and more precisely their subsidiary, SATEXPORT which specialises in customs transit and teh export of food products from French firms all around the world. The handover of this multi-temperature warehouse measuring almost 4500 m² is also scheduled for after the summer holidays.
Almost 100,000 m² built by the IDEC GROUP in Wissous
With 100,000 m² built in the area around Wissous, the IDEC GROUP with its subsidiaries, IDEC and FAUBOURG PROMOTION, have once again shown their ability to work together to satsify their clients’ needs concerning planning, development, investment, and the design and construction of turnkey projects.
