IDEC, leader in the design and construction of turnkey projects involving logistics, industrial and service sector properties, has been chosen by MONTEA for the construction of a warehouse. This 35,000 m² project is the second time the investor in logistics property and the IDEC GROUP have worked together.
Another logistics project
MONTEA, a land development company specialising in logistics premises in Belgium, the Netherlands and France, works alongside its clients to come up with investment and rental management solutions. The firm entrusted IDEC with the construction of a logistics platform near Arras in the town of Athies, which is being developed on behalf of ADVITAM.
A 35,000m² platform
This project is based around a 35,000 m² construction including two 12,000 m² dry units and a third unit measuring 9000 m² dedicate to the storage of hazardous products. In order to meet the requirements of the logistics business of the occupant of the new building, it includes two charging areas each measuring 200 m² and a 250 m² equipment area. A three storey office block offering 2000 m² is also part of this project which is going to take nine months to build.
The second time MONTEA and the IDEC GROUP have worked together
The signature of the contract for this logistics platform is the second joint project between MONTEA and the IDEC GROUP. The construction of this latest project comes after the first project carried out by the land developer specialising in logistics property and the IDEC INVEST GROUP. The investment arm of the IDEC GROUP was involved in the delivery of a 4240 m² distribution centre in Lesquin (Nord).
