IDEC is supporting GARBE Industrial Real Estate France in the turnkey delivery of a 27,000 sq m logistics development in Pléchâtel.
A major construction project in figures
Covering a total surface area of 27,000 sq m, the building will include warehouse units, office space and technical premises. Designed to accommodate one or several companies, it is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2025, with early handovers planned ahead of final completion.
The project mobilises significant resources: 4,800 m³ of concrete, 5,000 linear metres of cabling, 600 columns, 3,000 metres of fencing, 1,435 metres of kerbs and 2,120 tonnes of external paving materials have already been installed. A total of 32 wheel guides will complete the technical equipment of the facility.
At the peak of activity, 70 workers are mobilised on the construction site, with an average of 25 workers present throughout the duration of the works.
In addition, several local partner companies are actively contributing to the delivery of the project, including HERVÉ TP, ALTHEA NOVA, ESPACE CLOTURE OUEST, CIMEO, LEMOINE, FRESNEL, LEFEL and AUDRAN.
A strong environmental approach
Targeting BREEAM Excellent certification, the project forms part of a sustainable development approach with a roof fully equipped with photovoltaic panels, a heat pump system, 12,000 sq m of landscaped green spaces, 65 newly planted trees and 12 habitats integrated for insects and wildlife.
The use of sustainable materials and particular attention paid to indoor air quality further demonstrate the environmental ambitions of the project.
