IDEC’s teams are actively continuing the construction works on the extension of the logistics platform developed by AREFIM in Vennecy, in the Loiret department. Following the symbolic installation of the first column last June, the project has now reached another major milestone.
A major logistics project supporting the growth of GROUPE DERET
Developed by AREFIM, in collaboration with ACCIL, A26 and B27, and operated by DERET, the logistics and transport subsidiary of GROUPE DERET, this new 30,000 sq m building, whose construction has been entrusted to IDEC, will expand a strategic logistics site.
The project reflects the ambition of all stakeholders to support the continued growth of DERET’s activities by providing modern, high-performance and sustainable infrastructure.
Concrete structure completed, internal floor slabs underway
To date, the entire concrete structure has been completed, marking the end of a key structural phase of the project.
Construction of the internal floor slabs began in October, paving the way for the future technical and operational fit-out works.
The building is already 50% watertight
Progress on the building envelope continues, with waterproofing works now reaching 50% completion.
Completion of the roof covering is scheduled for early November, ahead of the start of secondary works and the installation of internal equipment.
A project committed to the energy transition
In line with IDEC’s sustainability strategy, the project will incorporate a rooftop photovoltaic power plant designed and installed by GROUPE IDEC ENR SOLAR.
This installation will generate a significant share of the energy consumed on site, contributing to the reduction of the building’s carbon footprint and improving its overall energy performance.
Next step: completion of the building envelope and interior fit-out
Over the coming weeks, efforts will focus on completing the roof covering and continuing the interior works ahead of the scheduled delivery in the first quarter of 2026.
