IDEC, a specialist in the turnkey design and construction of logistics, industrial and commercial projects, has begun construction of the new warehouse developed for ARGAN in Louailles, in the Sarthe department. Launched in mid-April, the project is progressing at a sustained pace. Structural works are currently focused on the construction of the foundation columns, while external works are concentrating on the installation of the drainage and utility networks. The erection of the concrete structure is scheduled to begin in mid-July.
A tailor-made logistics warehouse to support NORTENE’s growth
This new facility will accommodate the activities of NORTENE HOME DEPOT, a company specialising in garden and outdoor landscaping products.
With a total surface area of 18,300 sq m, the development includes two logistics cells of 10,200 sq m and 6,000 sq m, a 1,000 sq m mezzanine, 800 sq m of offices over two levels (ground floor + first floor) and 100 sq m of technical premises.
The building has been designed to allow for a future extension consisting of two additional warehouse cells.
Delivery of the first warehouse cell is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025 as part of a three-phase delivery programme.
