IDEC, a specialist in the turnkey design and construction of logistics, industrial and commercial projects, is continuing the construction of a mixed-use business facility for MOHAWKS in Frépillon (Val-d’Oise). Since construction works began in November 2024, the project has achieved significant progress, particularly on the external works. Full completion is scheduled for the end of the summer.
A mixed-use project
This project brings together office space and a workshop dedicated to the activities of MOHAWKS, a company specialising in the import, distribution and assembly of high-end bicycles.
Designed by VICTOR Architectes, this new 2,200 sq m facility will include several functional areas, including 1,300 sq m dedicated to bicycle assembly activities and a paint booth, as well as 900 sq m of office space.
External works largely completed
Significant progress has been made on the external works. To date, the majority of these developments have been completed, including the installation of exposed aggregate concrete on pedestrian circulation areas and grass paving blocks within parking areas.
These improvements help structure the site while enhancing accessibility.
Progress has also been substantial on the interior architectural works. Within the office area, partitioning is now complete following the installation of the final plasterboard panels. Finishing works have begun, with the first coats of paint currently being applied.
At the same time, tiling and wall tile installation are underway, marking an important milestone towards the final fit-out of the office spaces.
The next stages of the project
The project teams are now focusing on the final phases of construction, including the installation of topsoil and landscaped green areas, external asphalt works, the installation of perimeter fencing and the erection of lighting columns.
These works will complete the project, which is scheduled for final delivery by the end of summer 2025.
An initial handover of the workshop areas, planned for mid-June, will enable MOHAWKS to begin preparing and integrating its future operational facilities under the best possible conditions.
