On 10 June, IDEC’s teams reached a symbolic milestone with the installation of the first column for the extension of a logistics platform in Vennecy, in the Loiret department. This symbolic event marks an important step in the progress of the project, whose construction works began on 3 March 2025.
An ambitious project at the heart of a strategic site
Developed by AREFIM, with the support of ACCIL, A26 and B27, and operated by DERET, the logistics and transport subsidiary of GROUPE DERET, this new 30,000 sq m building will expand a major logistics site.
The project is designed to support the continued growth of activities on this strategic location by providing modern, high-performance facilities adapted to the current requirements of the logistics sector.
Structural works underway until mid-August
Following this first major construction milestone, the steel structure erection works have now begun and will continue until mid-August.
This phase will then allow the project teams to move forward with the next stages of the building envelope works, followed by the technical installations and interior fit-out works ahead of the scheduled delivery in the first quarter of 2026.
A strong commitment to the energy transition
The project forms part of an ambitious environmental approach.
It notably includes a rooftop photovoltaic power plant designed and installed by GROUPE IDEC ENR SOLAR, the GROUPE IDEC subsidiary specialising in renewable energy solutions.
This installation will generate a significant proportion of the energy consumed on site, contributing to the building’s energy performance and helping to reduce its carbon footprint.
