IDEC has delivered the first phase of the new Aut0nom® warehouse developed for ARGAN and operated by NORTENE HOME DEPOT in Louailles, in the Sarthe department. Launched in mid-April 2025, this project was completed within an extremely short timeframe and illustrates another successful collaboration between ARGAN and IDEC’s teams.
A project delivered within an exceptionally short timeframe
A rapid and well-structured approach made it possible to ensure the start-up and deployment of operations within particularly tight deadlines.
Working alongside its partners, IDEC’s teams successfully met a highly demanding schedule in order to guarantee the start of operations on 1 December.
Construction works began in mid-April 2025 with the foundations and drainage networks. The erection of the concrete structure from mid-July enabled the teams to quickly proceed with the building envelope works and the interior fit-out.
The second phase will be delivered in mid-January 2026 to allow full operation of the facility, while the office areas will be completed during spring 2026.
A logistics facility supporting the growth of NORTENE HOME DEPOT
Designed to support the growth of NORTENE HOME DEPOT, a leading company specialising in garden and outdoor living solutions, this 18,300 sq m facility fully meets its operational requirements.
The building comprises two logistics units of 10,200 sq m and 6,000 sq m, a 1,000 sq m mezzanine, 800 sq m of office space over two levels and 100 sq m of technical premises.
The entire facility has been designed to be scalable and easily adaptable for future mechanisation, with the possibility of adding two additional warehouse units should NORTENE HOME DEPOT’s requirements evolve.
The first warehouse unit was delivered as part of a three-phase programme, allowing for a progressive commissioning of the facility.
