A strategic project underway for Alderan and IDEC
As part of the extension of the logistics site owned by a fund managed by Alderan in Briare, construction works are progressing in line with the schedule established at the launch of the project.
Carried out by IDEC, the project consists of the construction of a 9,200 sq m extension, directly connected to the existing building, while maintaining the site’s operations throughout the construction period.
This extension responds to the growing demand for modern and optimised logistics space while enhancing the value of the fund’s real estate assets.
Progress on the structural frame and foundations
The project has reached a key milestone with the start of the erection of the concrete structure for Warehouse Unit 3, a major structural phase that shapes the main framework of the building and marks significant progress in the construction schedule.
At the same time, the teams have continued the foundation works for Warehouse Unit 4, preparing the ground and structural elements that will support the future concrete frame.
The simultaneous execution of these operations demonstrates the well-controlled pace of the project and the efficient technical management of the different structural work phases.
A well-managed project on an occupied site
One of the main challenges of this extension is that it is being carried out on an occupied site, requiring construction works to be coordinated while maintaining the existing logistics operations.
This constraint requires specific measures relating to safety, site traffic management and internal logistics, while ensuring uninterrupted operations for the site’s users.
