IDEC has just completed the construction of a logistics project for ARGAN in Albon (Drôme). This project includes 12,000 m² of storage space and 600 m² of offices and took eight months to build.
Another project carried out jointly by ARGAN and IDEC
ARGAN, a leading player in the development of high quality logistics projects once again entrusted the teams from IDEC with the construction of a warehouse. This latest project follows on from several others successfully carried out between the two groups over almost twenty years with the construction of all sizes of projects across France.
A 12,600 m² project
This latest project which took eight months to build covers 12,600 m². It includes two storage units, a dry one and one temperature controlled unit (12 °C). A 600 m² office block on two floors was also part of this project. From the outset, an extension was considered with the possible creation of five extra units.
BREEAM Pass Level certification
As with all the other projects completed for its clients, IDEC is once again aiming for environmental certification for this project. Thanks to careful attention to the design (free cooling system to bring fresh air into units when it is very hot) and work being carried out while respecting the environment, this warehouse is expected to obtain the Pass level BREEAM label. This latest project follows on from almost 2 million m² of certified property already completed by IDEC for its clients.
