The construction site of the future industrial facility for HFR and FMP, located in Frépillon (Val-d’Oise), has entered a new phase with the completion of the concrete floor slabs and the installation of 10 overhead cranes. Led by IDEC, this strategic project marks an important step in the development and merger of these two specialists in boring, honing and industrial turning operations. Delivery is scheduled for the end of the year.
A 7,000 sq m industrial facility for a key player in boring and honing operations
This new 7,000 sq m facility will bring together all of HFR’s and FMP’s activities within a single modern and functional site.
It will include a 6,000 sq m semi-underground workshop, 1,000 sq m of office space and a 90-space parking area.
This consolidation will optimise the Group’s industrial performance while strengthening internal synergies.
A project focused on sustainability
Designed with strong environmental ambitions, the facility will incorporate a 499 kWp photovoltaic power plant designed and installed by GROUPE IDEC ENR Solar.
The installation will generate approximately 503 MWh per year, representing a reduction of around 160 tonnes of CO₂ emissions over a 20-year period.
This choice illustrates the commitment of HFR and its partners to supporting the energy transition.
Works in progress: structure completed, fit-out works to come
With the installation of the overhead cranes (ranging from 3.2 to 10 tonnes) and the ongoing concrete slab works, the building is now watertight and weatherproof.
Interior works will begin in the coming weeks in order to maintain the project schedule.
The completion of this facility represents a key milestone for HFR, demonstrating its commitment to modernising its industrial facilities while actively contributing to a more sustainable industrial sector.
Scheduled for delivery at the end of the year, the project will mark the completion of a major development combining industrial performance with environmental commitment.
